The Spadone 1366 - The rite between faith and history Event

Historical costume reenactment of the entry of Patriarch Marquard von Randeck into Cividale in 1366. The community of Cividale prepares to welcome the Patriarch with a procession from the historic Porta di Ponte, continuing along the Devil's Bridge, Corso Paolino d'Aquileia, Piazza Duomo, Largo Boiani, Piazza Foro Giulio Cesare, Via Silvio Pellico, Piazza Diaz, and Piazza Dante. Marquard von Randeck enters Cividale through Porta San Pietro, accompanied by the Major Ministers on horseback, continuing along Via Silvio Pellico, Piazza Foro Giulio Cesare, Largo Boiani, and Piazza Duomo.
Starting at 2:30 PM in Piazza Duomo
Medieval entertainment in honor of the investitures: Medieval music, medieval duels, fire-eating and jestering, medieval drum rolls, and the "New Flames" show.
