Despite several highly questionable refereeing decisions, the Eagles won in overtime at the Pala AGSM AIM, defeating the "battleship" Verona. A solid performance that confirmed Cividalese's second-place finish in Serie A2.
An outstanding performance from "mayor" Lucio Redivo (26 points), shattering any rumors of a possible replacement for the Argentine. Cosimo Costi (14 points) also performed well, as did captain Eugenio Rota, who defeated Verona in overtime with two very difficult baskets. Also noteworthy was Deshawn Freeman's performance, with 11 points and 18 rebounds.
