Chardonnay

It is one of the most important white grape varieties in the world, with widespread today. Great wine for sparkling wine, is also suitable for aging in barrels. In Italy it is widespread in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy and Trentino Alto Adige. For a long time confused with the Pinot Blanc, from 1978, with D.M. 24.10, Chardonnay is entered in the National Variety Cadastre. Colour: pale yellow, variable intensity.
Aroma: hints of apple, acacia flowers, fresh bread crust.
Taste: dry, full, harmonious and fine, high gradation and fixed balanced acidity.
Pairings: aperitif wine, suitable for a wide range of light appetizers, soups, dishes based on eggs or fish.
